My name is Denis Blanchard. I am “grateful” that you have found my page.

You could say I’m an “old-timer” on the Internet.  I started back in the late ’80s with a computer that had two floppy disks and no hard drive!

I have been on multiple BBS (For those of you who have never seen the acronym, it stands for “Bulletin Board Service”) even before the Internet was something that people knew what it was.

I also used services like Compuserve and AOL, which were very popular before the actual explosion of the Internet.

I used Wildcat, Gopherspace, and Telnet before the arrival of “Netscape” to “surf” the Internet in its early days.

So I’ve been around quite a while and seen all the actual changes come and go.

But this was all just a “hobby,” something I would do after my actual “job.”

After years and years of working for someone else, I decided to try if this “Internet” could actually earn me some money.  I was seeing people claiming they were millionaires just by blogging, so I started studying.  Again just as an “after-work” hobby.

I have been studying ways to make money online with affiliate marketing for a little over seven years now.  During this period, I had great ideas and dreams at first. I did a couple of plain and ugly websites and made no money with them; they just cost me money.

I went on and on, looking for ways to make money online, and did find some pretty shady and very low-quality offers. I quickly realized that there are NO magic buttons, NO getting rich overnight (even though there are a lot of schemes and/or scams out there claiming that they can).

Then I found out about Affiliate Marketing.

I am very grateful to have found this method of earning honest money and creating a passive income for myself and my family, hence the name of my site, “gratefulaffiliate.com.”

The main reason for creating this website is to help people like you (and me) who are really fed up with the 9 to 5 grind and want to be able to fire their boss and “quit the rat race” by creating multiple sources of passive income and eventually, quit their day job and work full time online.
